About this event

From the promise of RFID to the growth of smart wearables, the Internet of Things has grown exponentially over the years. Along with benefits to operations and consumers, IoT devices also bring security risks along with them. The discussion, sponsored by Securonix, will lead off with Larry Ponemon of the Ponemon Institute, Charles Miller of Shared Assessments, and Rocco Grillo of Alvarez & Marsal providing an overview of the report, “A New Roadmap for Third Party IoT Risk Management – the Critical Need to Elevate Awareness, Authority and Engagement,” covering:

  • The steep expansion, across all industries, in number, use and data collected by IoT devices - both internally and across third and nth party relationships.
  • Leading practices among self-reported higher performing organizations.
  • Organizational areas that are ripe for swift action.

Through an interactive Q&A, P&G CISO Kostas Georgakopoulos and Under Armour VP & CISO Matt Dunlop will discuss enterprise risk writ large and thoughts on how companies can and should handle IoT risks.

Be sure to stick around at the end of the event, where Securonix will be conducting a live raffle giveaway for a $250 E-Gift Card for those who opted into the raffle during registration!

The RH-ISAC was formed in 2014 as the home of the Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) and operates as a central hub for sharing sector-specific cybersecurity information and intelligence. The association connects information security teams at the strategic, operational and tactical levels to work together on issues and challenges, to share practices and insights, and to benchmark among each other – all with the goal of building better security for the retail and hospitality industries through collaboration. RH-ISAC currently serves companies in the retail, hospitality, gaming, travel and other consumer-facing entities.
